"Ghosting".... According to Urban dictionary.... When a person cuts off all COMMUNICATION with their friends or the person they're dating, with zero warning or notice before hand. You'll mostly see them avoiding friends phone call, social media, and avoiding them in public..

Let me tell you all about my very first experience of ghosting....

Sometime in 2013 a friend of mine sent a gift to me from the UK through a guy let's call him Mr X (definitely not his real name) I met up with him  at Tantalizer on Admiralty, just said hi and thank you for bringing my parcel and left. About 5 months later, my friend calls and say Mr X has been stressing on how to see me again and wanted my details, long story short, he called we exchanged Bbpins and that was the beginning of what I thought was my happily ever after πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. I didn't remember what he looked like so our first date to me was a blind date. I got to the cinema not knowing who I was meeting but when he walked up to me I knewπŸ˜€. We had dinner after the movie, we talked for like hours before we knew it, it was already midnight. Oh before I forget on our first date he got me a piece of jewelry 😍 I had never being on a date and the guy buys me a present! I was stunned! After that night I knew I made up my mind no turning back. He drove back to the mainland that night but he was on speaker phone with me till he got home. That was the beginning of love like I used to see in movies 😍😍😍. We were always together after work, weekends were spent together, we were like 2 peas in a pod or I thought so until he traveled out of the country for a week and that was it! One week oh! He even came back, I didn't know, he walked past me in the mall I didn't see him, he didn't bother to call me but sent me a message 2days later telling me he saw me at the mall and even gave a description of my outfit. I kept asking him what the problem was he said it was in my mind. Next thing he stopped taking my calls, or responding to my messages. The part that killed me was when I was with my friend that introduced us, I called him, he didn't pick up my call. She called him immediately he picked up! I swear I died! That day I won't even lie I cried my eyes sore when I got home. It was a struggle to get over but I had to tell myself the truth. I had to give myself the closure I needed to move on. I remembered the sermon at my moms funeral, My uncle the officiating reverend father said I quote "young girls never ever love the wrong man, my sister is dead today because she loved the wrong man and could not let go" As much as love is sweet, my sanity is sweeter. That experience changed my life forever. It hasn't made stop believing in love oh! Never ! But it has made me understand that as individuals, there is only so much one can take.... Love is a beautiful thing as much as sometimes the people we love don't care about us, don't mean that love doesn't exist. I'm still a sucker for love, but now I love without a reason...

Enough of this love matter....... I am still not n my diet, still exercising gradually and losing the weight on day at a time. I went for my very first yoga class on Saturday (thanks to AliceπŸ’‹) it's going to the beginning of many more yoga classesπŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€. If you're interested let me know and I'll send you the address. Please bear in mind, it's not a free class oh!!!
Anyway, have you ever being Ghosted? Or have you ghosted someone, please share on the comment section.... Until next time...... Be kind to one another .

Meanwhile the picture attached is the reason I was ghostedπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚, don't ask me why because honestly I have no idea. I only found it 2yrs agoπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  1. If I drop my own ghosting experience eh!! LOL

    1. I'm yet to understand the logic behind ghosting????

  2. Have felt the same, especially the part of forcing yourself to have closure or accept the situation without reason

    1. That is one of the most difficult situations to ever find one's self.
